DUI arrest made in Grizzly Bluff Road

FERNDALE, Ca., (KIEM)- An early morning crash Sunday has one person in custody for driving under the influence. Grizzly Bluff Road was closed briefly this weekend when a driver crashed into a power pole, which fell into the roadway. PG&E was on scene a half an hour later, working to get the pole out of the road.

Some residents may have noticed a power outage in those early morning hours. All of this happened before 2:00 a.m. Sunday. The driver was not injured, but officers believe they were driving drunk. One way traffic control was in place by 4:00 a.m., and now all lanes of traffic are open.
