Realtors talk Prop 10 ahead of Election Day

ARCATA, CA. (KIEM)-The President of the “California Association of Realtors” is sharing his distaste for Prop 10,  a move to allow local governments to enforce rent control.

Thursday afternoon at the Bayshore Golf Club, a meeting took place between the “Humboldt Association of Realtors”, and Steve White. At the meeting, white urged his audience to vote “no” to Prop 10 saying, if passed it would put a significant impact on the availability of rental properties, and that rent control could sway builders “not” to build new housing, in fear they won’t break even.
