Trick-or-treaters invade Historic Old Town in Eureka

Eureka, Ca, (KIEM) In the City of Eureka the trick or treat festivities continued Saturday afternoon. Costumes and children invaded Eureka’s Main Street excited to stop by over 80 stores to fill their Halloween bags and buckets right before the spooky holiday.

Participating businesses had signs in their window showing that they were open and ready for trick-or-treaters. Eagle House Owner, Rebecca Rex said that she was thrilled to be one of the companies taking part in the Main Street candy giveaway.

“That’s what’s going to keep Old Town thriving and getting more people down here. It’s such a beautiful place, it’s really coming back like crazy and so we want to make sure everyone know we are a big welcoming part of it.”

Rex added that this is a great opportunity for locals to come out no matter how old they are and to live in the Halloween spirit.
