Suspect in Arcata stabbing murder pleads not guilty

EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM) – During his first court appearance, Arcata murder suspect Brandon Watson plead not guilty on Wednesday at the Humboldt County Courthouse.

Watson is charged with murder, with a special allegation of using a weapon. Early last Thursday, he is suspected of stabbing and causing fatal injuries to Eureka resident Peter Triantos.

Judge Bruce Watson raised Brandon Watson’s bail to $1,050,000, and scheduled his preliminary hearing for November 13.
