Humboldt County Elections Office racks up vote by mail ballots

HUMBOLDT COUNTY – Election Day is just four days away, and Vote by Mail Ballots are racking up at the Humboldt County Election’s Office.

According to staff, so far they’ve checked off just under 15,000 mail-in ballots. And that number doesn’t include an estimated 1,300 they just received yesterday.

In November of 2014, the Humboldt County Election’s Office received around 21,000 vote by mail ballots. They’re expecting to receive even more this in this heated Mid-Term Election.
