Hilfiker Pipe Company damaged in fire

EUREKA- Ca (KIEM)- Fire crews rush to structure fire at a Eureka pipe company.

Humboldt Bay fire received the call at around 9:15 Monday night at the Hilfiker Pipe Company located on the 3900 block of Broadway.

Flames were visible from the front of the building and on the left side of the roof. It took crews several minutes to make their way inside the structure. Once inside, they were able to quickly bring the fire under control.

Crews are still on scene, and it’s too early to tell what started the fire.
