Humboldt Bay Fire, other local agencies sent to Camp Fire

EUREKA, Ca(KIEM)- A team made up of members from five Humboldt County firefighting agencies, are on the ground helping to gain control of the camp fire that’s currently at 90,000 acres with only five percent containment .

The strike team consist of engines from Arcata, Blue Lake, Miranda, and Briceland.

They arrived to the firefighting base camp in Chico at about 1:30 in the morning. They will now start working 24 hour shifts on the fire line during their deployment.
