Humboldt County residents to deliver over 500 turkeys to Camp Fire families

EUREKA – Humboldt County residents are giving to evacuated Camp Fire families, with over 500 turkeys that have been donated just over the past 48 hours.

The turkeys are all going to be delivered to Butte County on Friday morning. In the meantime, Varsity Ice Cream in Eureka is keeping them cold and stored.

The idea started when radio host Rollin Trehearne, who reached out to a Butte County Supervisor.
