Two masked men rob a McKinleyville gas station

MCKINLEYVILLE – Two masked men robbed a McKinleyville gas station early Tuesday morning.

Around 12:30, Humboldt County Sheriff deputies responded to the 76 gas station on Central Avenue.

One of the suspects pulled out a firearm and demanded money from the cashier. The other took multiple cartons of cigarettes behind the counter.

The two men fled the store on Reasor Road with $250 in cash, and over $500 worth of cigarettes.

No one was injured in the robbery. Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office.
