Rio Dell City Council approves vacation rental regulations

RIO DELL – The Rio Dell City Council approves new regulations on vacation rentals.

The council voted 3-2 last night to move forward with the new regulations. It requires residents that are interested in owning vacation dwellings, to submit for a business license.

The regulations are expected to generate tax money for the city. As of now, there are less than five vacation rental units in Rio Dell. The cost for a license will depend on the income of the unit.
