Solo vehicle crash causes traffic on Highway 101 near Loleta

LOLETA, Ca. (KIEM) – Traffic was backed up for several miles on Highway 101, after a solo vehicle crash near Loleta.

The crash happened just before 4:30PM on Tuesday afternoon.

A man in a Nissan Pathfinder was driving southbound, when for an unknown reason he lost control, and struck the guardrail, and concrete median.

He sustained minor injuries in the crash. Loleta and Fortuna volunteer fire departments both responded, along with CHP and City Ambulance.
