Blue Lake has new traffic ordinance in the works

BLUE LAKE- The City of Blue Lake is in the process of creating a traffic ordinance, to reduce speeds, by adding stop signs

City staff say they want to have better traffic control, coming to and leaving Blue Lake.  That’s because some pedestrians in cross-walks assume they’re entering a four-way stop.

But, because some are just two-way stops, this causes a safety hazard. So, they want more stop signs, and less people speeding through Blue Lake.
