Arcata High School goes on lockdown after shooting near campus

ARCATA, Ca(KIEM)- Arcata High School was on lockdown Monday morning after a shooting at Foster and Heather Lane in Arcata.

It happened just after 8 and one man was injured. He was taken to the hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
There suspects were taken into custody.
Arcata high school went on lockdown for around 20 minutes to ensure the safety of the students and staff.
Arcata principal Dave Navaree told Redwood News the students and everyone involved did a great job during the situation.
