Possible arson fire in McKinleyville

Blue Lake and Arcata Fire respond to a suspicious fire tonight around 5:30 p.m. on the 300 block of Glenwood Ln in McKinleyville. Arcata was able to put the fire out the fire in around 10 minutes.

Personnel with Blue Lake tell us the possible “arson” fire started in a trailer behind a residential structure. The trailer is a total loss. One minor injury was reported.

The Humboldt County Sheriff’s department is investigating the cause of the fire.
