Myrtletown gas station robbed

EUREKA, Ca (KIEM)- A Myrtletown gas station is robbed at gunpoint with the suspect getting away with over 300 dollars.

Just before midnight on Wednesday, the Humboldt County Sheriff’s office responded to the Chevron gas station on the 1600 block of Myrtle Avenue for an armed robbery.

According to the store clerk, the male suspect brandished a firearm and demanded money from the register. He then fled on foot eastbound from the gas station.

The suspect is described as in his 40’s, 5-feet-10 inches tall with a thin build, wearing a blue bandanna on his face, a black sweatshirt and dark colored baggy pants.

Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s office.
