Butane hash lab materials found at McKinleyville storage facility

MCKINLEYVILLE, Ca (KIEM)- A panic alarm at a McKinleyville storage unit facility results in the discovery of marijuana and hash lab materials.

At around 1:30 Sunday afternoon, Humboldt County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the location on the 1600 block of Sutter Road. Once there, deputies located keys still in the lock of one of the storage units.

No one was found inside but components with a butane hash lab were discovered along with over 327 pounds of marijuana bud. Over 26 pounds of butane hash oil products were also recovered from the unit.
