Del Norte County Supervisors pass six percent tax on Indoor Cultivation

DEL NORTE COUNTY, Ca. (KIEM)- The Del Norte County Board of Supervisors have unanimously passed a six percent tax on Commercial Retail Cannabis.

After the passage of Measure B, Del Norte Supervisors voted on the tax percentage this morning for Indoor Cultivation. First District Supervisor Roger Gitlin who voted no on Measure B, and the Commercial Ordinance, voted yes for a tax rate of six percent.

They did not decide a regulation on outdoor Cannabis within or outside coastal zones. They plan to revisit that topic at their January meeting, after the New Year.
