Blue Lake City Council to appoint Mayor and Mayor Pro-tem

BLUE LAKE, Ca. (KIEM)- After the long wait to certify November election results, Blue Lake City Council will appoint a Mayor and Mayor Pro-tem.

This will happen tomorrow night at their meeting once newly elected council members Chris Curran and Elaine Hogan take the oath of office.

Currently Adelene Jones is the Payor and Bobbie Ricca is the Pro-tem.

On the agenda is a discussion about the proposed traffic ordinance regulations where the city wants to change some 2-way stop sign intersections to four-way stop signs.
Their meeting starts Tuesday night at 6:30 in the Skinner Store building.
