Home invasion suspects lead law enforcement on high speed chase

WILLITS, Ca(KIEM)- Two men involved in a home invasion robbery near Island Mountain in Southern Humboldt injured a man and woman.

It happened at around 8:30 Friday night as the male suspects reportedly stole six guns, marijuana and $30,000.

They led law enforcement on a high speed chase into Mendocino County where it came to a stop north of Willits near the Irvine Rest Area.

There are two vehicles involved. A GMC white pickup was stopped using OnStar to disable the vehicle. A male suspect was taken into custody at around midnight. The other vehicle is a blue SUV which has not been located.
