TRINIDAD, Ca., (KIEM)- California State Parks wants to get everyone active on the first day of the year. They’re doing this by having a Humboldt Lagoons State Park Paddle or Swim.
The event starts at 10 in the morning at Stone Lagoon. All skill level and ages are welcome to participate.
Swimmers will leave from the Visitor Center and Swim half a mile across Stone Lagoon to Ryan’s Cove. Paddlers will part from the same location but have a ranger-guided paddle that is roughly four miles around the Stone Lagoon.
