2nd annual New Year’s Race doubles last year’s number of participants

EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM) – This morning along Eureka’s waterfront trail.

Well over 250 people kicked off their New Year, with a 5 kilometer race. This is the 2nd New Year’s Race put on by the Six Rivers Running Club, and the city of Eureka’s Community Service Department. This year’s race doubled last year’s participating numbers, some finishing the race in under 20-minutes and 19-seconds.
