Car destroyed in fire

EUREKA (KIEM)- An abandoned car is a total loss after its set on fire near Spruce Point.

Humboldt Bay Fire responded to south Broadway road at around 7:45 Tuesday night. When they arrived, the car was fully engulfed in flames. Fire fighters quickly put the blaze out.

A witness told Redwood News the car had been at the location for several days and someone had smashed out the windows.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Humboldt County Sheriff’s office.
