As we welcome the new year, hundreds are spending their time down at the Humboldt County Fairgrounds ice rink.

Since late November, volunteers have organized family activities from taking pictures with Santa to watching a hockey game.

As Victor Anguiano explains, the rink had to be moved to Ferndale to keep the tradition alive.
