EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM)- After a delay in the season, crabbers are getting ready to head out and grab some crabs. But they’re waiting for new test results.
The crab season has been delayed for over month, due to high levels of domoic acid.
But crab fishermen are getting ready to set sail. Over the last few days, crabbers have been preparing. They hope to start dropping their pots by next week.
The results released on Monday, will determine whether or not crab fishermen will be able to start crabbing.
