Felon arrested after foot chase in Southern Humboldt

GARBERVILLE (KIEM)- A felon is arrested after a foot chase with law enforcement in southern Humboldt.

Just after ten Monday night, Humboldt County Sheriff’s deputies were out on patrol at a known transient camp near Highway 101 in the Sprowel Creek area.

Deputies contacted 43 year-old Jordan Forest Rose who was wanted for a felony warrant. He fled from the deputies but was taken into custody after a short foot chase.

Rose was booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility for the warrant, evading police, driving with a suspended or revoked license and resisting arrest.
