Klamath resident without power this morning

KLAMATH, Ca., (KIEM)- The power in Klamath is restored, but that wasn’t the case earlier today. The Yurok tribe headquarters and Klamath residents were experiencing a power outage.  Until recently, they’ve had no electricity since yesterday. Leon Purvis was in Klamath today and brings us more.

UPDATE: At this time Pacific Power has identified the issue on the downed transmission line, corrected it and has restored power to the substation providing service to the Klamath area. They will be restoring service to their customers incrementally throughout the evening.
