Del Norte Supervisors approve cannabis license with Elk Valley Rancheria

CRESCENT CITY, Ca., (KIEM)- The Del Norte County Board of Supervisors have unanimously approved a cannabis license with the Elk Valley Rancheria.

This comes after supervisors lifted the ban on commercial cannabis back in November. Now under this agreement, all cannabis related activity on the reservation is under tribal law. They will split the tax revenue in half with the county.

The tribe agrees to provide them with a 20 day notice of new licenses of any operator.
