Two suspects on the loose after high speed chase and armed home invasion

EASTERN HUMBOLDT, Ca.,(KIEM) –The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office and other agencies were involved in a high speed chase in Eastern Humboldt County. The suspects, are still on the loose.

The pursuit started at around three this afternoon for a Silverado truck on Pine Creek Road. The chase continued on Bald Hills Road and the Truck stopped near French Camp where the two male suspect fled on foot. They are considered armed and dangerous. The truck was involved with a home invasion this morning in Orleans.

It happened around 2 this morning on the 1400 block of skunk hollow road. The female victim heard a knock on her door, but refused to open it because she didn’t know who it was. Then moments later the masked suspects kicked down the door. They entered the residence with firearms and zip-tied the victim’s wrists. The suspects stole multiple firearms.
