Crescent City Fire and Rescue responds to 1600 calls in 2018

CRESCENT CITY, Ca. (KIEM) – Crescent City Fire and Rescue had a busy year responding 1600 calls in 2018. That’s up 300 more than in 2017. So in 2019, they want everyone to be better prepared.

Although the majority of those calls were medical aids, there was a decent amount of traffic collisions and fires. In fact just Monday morning, they put out a structure fire in Crescent City that caused damage to a house and a car on Kings Valley Road. That’s why Crescent City Fire wants the public to be ready in case something happens.
