Fortuna police identify stabbing suspect

FORTUNA (KIEM)- Fortuna police have identified a suspect who is wanted for attempted murder after he stabbed a man early Thursday morning.

Police are searching for 24 year-old Derek Ray Johnson of Fortuna who is accused of stabbing a 51 year-old man on the 2300 block of Acacia Drive. The victim is listed in stable condition St. Joseph Hospital.
