Truck Carrying Hay Bales Catches Fire

LOLETA (KIEM)– A truck carrying hay bales catches fire on northbound Highway 101 near College of the Redwoods.

It happened at around 12:15 Saturday afternoon.

The Loleta Volunteer Fire Department and California Highway Patrol both responded to the scene.

A woman and two children were able to exit the truck safely.

The cause is under investigation.
