Copenhagen Road in Loleta closes after roadway gave way due to sink hole

LOLETA, Ca., (KIEM) -Copenhagen Road in the Loleta area is closed after the roadway gave way due to a sink hole.

The Humboldt County Public Works Department was at the location this morning assessing the damage. They’ll have to wait until the weather subsides before repairs can be made.

It could take up to two weeks before the roadway is fully re-opened.  According to one worker, the roadway was already in bad conditions before the recent storm.
