Garage damaged in early morning fire

CUTTEN (KIEM)- An electrical fire caused an estimated $5,000 in damage to the garage of a Cutten home.

Humboldt Bay Fire responded just after 1:30 Wednesday morning to a residence on the 5400 block of Walnut Drive. When they arrived on scene, smoke was visible from the garage.

It took 15 minutes to bring the fire under control.

There were no injuries reported.
