Caltrans holds meeting to showcase $22 million in proposed projects on Highway 101 in Eureka

EUREKA, CA. (KIEM) – Caltrans holds its meeting to showcase their $22 million in proposed projects along Highway 101 in Eureka.

Residents came out to the Wharfinger building to be informed on what traffic safety projects will happen over the next several years. They talked about 6 different projects that are in the works.

Also, at the meeting the City of Eureka did a presentation on their “Broadway Multi-Modal Transportation Corridor” study. The Caltrans project that will soon be in construction is the Wabash Fairfield Safety Project.

Next Caltrans will have their construction staff and inspectors work with the contractors to start building those improvements.
