HSU Hosts Over 300 High School Students for Leadership Conference

ARCATA, Ca. (KIEM) – Hundreds of high school students came to HSU to engage, enrich, and empower themselves.

It’s all part of the TRIO Upward Bound Program. The Trio Program helps students from 6th grade to high school.

Over 300 students from all over Northern California attended the conference. With some students even coming as far as Oakland. They took part in panels, presentations, and had a chance to meet all kinds of people.

The last time HSU hosted this event was almost ten years ago, back in 2009.
