Jumpers Take a Perilous Plunge into Humboldt Bay Waters

EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM) – Some daredevil divers decided to jump off into the cold waters of the Humboldt Bay!

All the jumpers donned their best and silliest costumes. They even showcased their outfits around Downtown Eureka. One team even dressed as flamingos!

Teams and individuals were also judged on their costume and how good their jump was.

After jumping into the chilly waters, those took the drive had a chance to even warm up in a nice hot tub with a drink in hand.

The Perilous Plunge is an annual fundraiser and community event hosted by the Discovery Museum.
