Arcata robbery suspects in custody

ARCATA, CA. (KIEM) – Two robbery suspects are in police custody after a bystander provides critical information leading to an arrest.

Last Sunday evening at around 11:30 Arcata Police responded to the 1200 block of 16th street, where a report of a home burglary was in progress. During the investigation, a citizen provided officers with the possible location of the suspects, the 2500  block of Alliance rd. Officers then contacted 19-year-old Chancellor Seymore and 26-year-old Trayten Hunt. Both were found to be in possession of two firearms, masks, and property stolen during the robbery.

Seymore and Hunt are now booked in the Humboldt County Jail on charges of robbery, and assault with a firearm.
