Senators host upcoming hearing on future development in fire-prone regions

SACRAMENTO, CA. (KIEM) – Senators Mike McGuire and Henry Stern will be hosting a hearing to address future development in fire-prone areas.

As many of us are aware California has seen some of the most destructive and deadly wildfires in American History. On Wednesday morning at the state capital a hearing will examine how local communities can rebuild and improve plans to mitigate wildfire loss, and if state and local governments should do more to regulate future development in fire-prone areas.
