The City of Trinidad did not submit Measure Z application

TRINIDAD, Ca., (KIEM) – The City of Trinidad did not submit an application for Measure Z funding for the upcoming fiscal year.

That’s according to the Humboldt County Administrative Office. The person that would request the Measure Z funding is interim City Manager Dan Berman. His role with the city has been limited since he resigned in Mid-December.

We reached out to Berman who was unavailable for comment. Trinidad requested around $163,000 last year and was approved for just over $37,000.

According to the administrative office, the Citizen’s Advisory Committee will unlikely consider a late application after its meeting on Thursday.
