PI Day Celebration

ARCATA, Ca. (KIEM) – If you’re a math enthusiast who also loves sweets, tomorrow is 3.14 Day or PI Day!

Slice of Pie in Arcata will be celebrating pie day. Their pies will have PI symbols on it.

People from all over Humboldt come in to celebrate pie itself and the number. But the best thing about the desert? You can enjoy it in any way.

Back in 1988, Larry Shaw organized a PI Day celebration at the San Francisco Exploratorium. That is the earliest known official celebration of PI Day”!
