Arcata Police Continuing to Investigate The Death of David Josiah Lawson

ARCATA, Ca. (KIEM) – It’s been one day after a grand jury decides not to indict anyone in the death of David Josiah Lawson.

Arcata police is now working to harder to identify his killer.

The DA’s office says, no charges will be filed in this case. Twenty –five witnesses testified before a grand jury. The Lawson family has been notified of the outcome.

Back in 2017, Lawson was stabbed at house party in Arcata, and APD are stepping up their efforts.

Chief Ahearn says, they will continue to investigation until they can bring this case to justice.
