EUREKA (KIEM)- 23 months later and there is still no justice for David Josiah Lawson. The Humboldt State student died after he was stabbed at an Arcata house party in April of 2017.

Members of justice for Josiah Lawson held another vigil Friday evening.  Lawson’s mother, Charmaine spoke to those who gathered in front of the Humboldt County Courthouse.

This comes after a grand jury earlier in the week decided not to indict anyone in the Lawson case and the district attorney’s office said no charges would be filed.

Arcata police told Redwood News the department will go back to work to identify the suspect who murdered Lawson.
