EUREKA, CA. (KIEM) – The city of Eureka is taking the necessary steps to allow cannabis retail shops, the ability to open cannabis lounges. However, members of the community and the language in the municipal code is making things difficult. Our Dru miller has the very latest.

The second reading of the ordinance, with the changes, will be on April 2nd. Director Rob Holmlund claims at the earliest, a cannabis retail shop could open in the fall of this year.
