California Department of Public Health, launches “Your Pain Is Real. So Are the Risks” campaign

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Ca. (KIEM) – Almost all of us know someone who is, or has been dealing with opioid addiction. That’s why the California Department of Public Health, is launching a campaign called “Your Pain Is Real. So Are the Risks.”

Many people believe there is a massive opioid crisis right here in Humboldt County, and county officials are showing the potential health hazards of substance abuse. While offering resources to beat addiction. You can see the campaign for yourself at the Winco in Eureka and other Safeway stores in the area.
