Drug Court Sees Seven New Graduates From Program

EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM) – A group of people who made steps to improving and bettering their lives graduated from drug court.

Seven people graduated from the drug court program. Drug court takes eighteen months. It has intense supervision with frequent drug and alcohol testing.

Most people who enter treatment do not pass. But those who do make it through are able to transition back into society and reunite with family members.

All seven graduates are now fully employed. The Humboldt County probation department has over 530 graduates from its program.
