South Fork High School goes on lockdown Thursday afternoon

MIRANDA (KIEM)- South Fork High School was placed on lockdown Thursday afternoon after a woman caused a disturbance in front of the school.

The Humboldt County Sheriff’s office responded to the high school in Miranda just before 1:30pm. The woman who was asked to leave the property refused and was arrested.

A school employee told Redwood News the lockdown lasted around 30 minutes.
