McKinleyville’s Citro signs with Marymount University to play golf

MCKINLEYVILLE (KIEM)- McKinleyville’s Molly Citro started playing golf when she was just five years-old.

And along the way, the senior has enjoyed success. Just this past season, Citro won the HDN regular season title. Now, she’s fulfilling her dream of playing golf at the college level.  

At Beau Pre Golf Course on Monday afternoon, Citro signed her letter of intent to attend Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia.

Citro told Redwood News she made the decision to go to college on the east coast because of how welcome the Marymount coaching staff and golfers made her feel when she visited the school.
