Girl on bike injured after struck by car

EUREKA (KIEM)- A 9-year-old girl riding a bike is injured after she was struck by a car.

It happened at around 4:30 Wednesday at the intersection of F and Hodgson Street in Eureka.  The girl sustained minor injuries and was transported by ambulance to St. Joseph Hospital.

The female driver of the vehicle was allowed to leave the scene after talking with Eureka police. This incident is still under investigation.
