Trinidad Rancheria teams up with DHHS to offer one-on-one support to tribal elders

TRINIDAD, Ca. (KIEM) – The Trinidad Rancheria and the Department of Health and Human Services have teamed up together to offer one-on-one support to tribal elders.

DHHS calls it their mobile outreach for seniors. A number of agencies were there, including the Public Guardian’s Office, and veteran and in-home supportive services.

There was also a program that offered tai chi instructions. The goal is for all elder tribal members to be aware of the different services and resources that are offered to them.
