North Coast Rape Crisis Team Shares Sexual Assault Awareness Month Efforts to Board of Supervisors

EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM) – this month is Sexual Assault Awareness Month and a local organization is partnering with other agencies to shed light on this problem.

Earlier this week, The North Coast Rape Crisis Team went before the Board of Supervisors to make them aware about their efforts and how their bringing attention to a difficult topic.

The organization is a non-profit group that serves Eureka, HSU, and Crescent City. They help anyone who’s suffered sexual harassment, abuse, and even child exploitation. Their goal is to bring more attention to a topic that is hard to talk about.
